Safari Overview

Starts from / returns to Mombasa, Diani, Bamburi, Kilifi beach resorts

The 6 days safari explores the plains of the Tsavo East & tours Amboseli national park with views of the Mount Kilimanjaro.

Safari proceeds to the Lake Nakuru with a stop to view the Great rift valley. At the Lake Nakuru, you shall view flamingos, other bird species and the endangered Black and White Rhino.

Other animal species including lion, giraffe, zebra, warthog and more can be found at the lake. Safari later proceed to the Masai Mara where you encounter the “Big Five” and more in a game viewing extravaganza.

The tour package provides opportunities to see Kenya evolve into more scenic and wildlife viewing opportunities progressively.

Accommodation is in a selection of economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury safari lodges and tented camps.

DAY 1: Mombasa/Diani-Tsavo East (120 kms – Approx. 3 hrs)

You will depart from your beach hotel in Mombasa at 7.00 a.m. and drive to Tsavo West National Park with a game drive on route, arriving for a well prepared and tasty lunch menu.

Check in to your camp/ Lodge and relax in the lounge area with spectacular views of wildlife at the waterhole just 100 meters away. Complete the day in Tsavo West National Park with game drive.

DAY 2: TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI (260 km – Approx. 4-5hrs)

Sunrise finds us ready and out for our morning game viewing drive!

Tour shall visit the Mzima Springs and explore on foot this crystal clear water source marveling at the hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, resident and migratory bird species.

Later proceed further south to the Amboseli National Park.

The 2-hour journey on gravel tracks takes us to the Amboseli national park.

We shall relax and bid our time for the afternoon game drive when we go out in search of wildlife

The park is relatively small and sparse of vegetation. Animal spotting is easy and rapid when lucky. The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty may shear off the clouds and the snow -capped peaks may gleam in the afternoon African sun.

Africa in all its splendor shall be smiling at us. It is an awesome sight to experience when weather permits. This is a photographers moment for those magical African memories.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI – LAKE NAKURU (420 kms, Appr 7 hrs) with lunch stop at Lake Naivasha

Early start for the Lake Nakuru national park.Todays’ drive is relatively long and scenic filled with glimpses of the country

You shall stop to marvel at the sheer drop of the great rift valley escarpment. The fresh water lake Naivasha and the alkaline lake Elmenteita are worthwhile stops along the route.

Arrive at the Lake Nakuru National park in time for a short game and bird watching drive.

Great moments shall  be spent around Lake Nakuru National Park with views of a few flamingoes, pelicans and a other variety of bird species.

The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the black and white rhino.

Flamingo, 56 different mammal species, Lion Hill , Balloon Cliff and out of Africa view points, about 550 different plant species.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA (290 kms – Approx. 6hrs)

Morning game and bird viewing drives at the park

Later proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve.

Arrive Masai Mara  in the mid afternoon. Short game drive at the Masai Mara.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the  moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing  encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

DAY 6: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI fly MOMBASA (Masai Mara – Nairobi 265 km – Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Last day on safari!

Early Morning game drive. Later proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.
